I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and I can't share a single application window when I'm on a call. I can only share all my windows together, which causes a zoom-out display to be shown on the other side of the call. My workaround, for now, is to use the web Chrom Teams when I need to present in a meeting.

This is the only feature I am missing in the Ubuntu version compared to the Windows version. Otherwise the Ubuntu version work just as well for me as the windows version.

This feature seems not supported in Teams for Linux now. I also had the same scenario as yours.
