Why cant I delete one of my own comments on this forum?

I inadvertently created a duplicate comment on an answer here but I cannot delete it.

The only options I get are Edit and Convert To Answer.

Thanks much for using the QandA platform

As you have mentioned the delete operation for QandA is not possible, either you can convert or edit it only the moderators can delete the comments, I see the thread you mentioned and don't worry about this, and I have manually deleted the comments,
