Doesn't give me option to chose "Show Conversations" for only 1 folder on Outlook

Hi,

I'm trying to change the view to "Show Conversations" on Outlook. Only 1 particular folder doesn't give me option to choose "Show Conversations" or "Conversation settings" (show very light color text) although other folders show the options.

No matter I quit Outlook or restart my PC, doesn't work. I research if there are similar issues, but I couldn't find it. Please help me to solve the issue.

Do you mean that the two options are grayed out like in the picture below?

If so, what exactly is that particular folder?

Based on my research, i found that when you select a search folder, the two options are grayed out.

Hi ChristyZhang-MSFT,

The picture is what I'm talking about.

I have several sub folders like below. Only highlighted folder below shows grayed, and I can't choose "Show as Conversations." The rest of the folders including sub folders show the options.

I also use both Mac and Windows, and only Windows gives me the issue.

Any solutions?

Based on my test, i found that when the filter option of the folder is not Arrange by Date, the issue will occur.

Please check if the emails in the specific folder are arranged by Date. Just click the specific folder and then click the filter option.
