@deHack Thanks for reaching out. The deploymentProvisioningState property indicates whether the deployment is being created, deleted, moved, or has succeeded or failed. It is a status of the deployment resource itself.

On the other hand, the "inactive" state refers to the usage of the deployed model. If a customized model is deployed and no completions or chat completions calls are made to it during a continuous 15-day period, the deployment is considered inactive. This is a state of the deployed model itself, not the deployment resource.
