Utilizing Microsoft Purview > Records Management, we have created a set of event-based record labels that were then published to SPO sites and next applied to files. When an event-based record label is applied a new column in SPO becomes available titled "Compliance Asset ID" that needs to be populated with a text value. My question is this...what are the available means or mechanisms that allow end users or admins to BULK EDIT the "Compliance Asset ID" column values in SPO?

    Hi @Alex Cross ,

From a SharePoint perspective, based on my research and testing, there is currently no way to do it via the UI. You can try setting its value via PowerShell. You can refer to this post:https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/sharepoint-developer/unable-to-edit-compliance-asset-id/m-p/2627028

    Hope this can help.
