custom vm image creation failure
I am encountering an issue while attempting to create a custom Azure image from a Windows 10 Pro OS VHD that was originally generated in Hyper-V. Within Hyper-V, everything operates smoothly as expected: I can create a new VM using the fixed VHD without any complications. However, when I upload the same VHD to Azure and attempt to create an image from it, the process consistently times out during VM creation. Alternatively, if I directly attach the VHD to create a VM, I face connectivity issues – specifically, I am unable to establish connections via RDP, serial console, or run command script.
Given the functionality observed within Hyper-V, it appears that the issue lies within the Azure environment. I have thoroughly reviewed my configurations and ensured that all settings are correct. Despite this, the problem persists. Therefore, I am reaching out to the Azure community for assistance in resolving this matter.
Any insights, recommendations, or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
