Migrating Microsoft Entra Domain Servie

I need to migrate Microsoft Entra Domain Services from one subscription to another. For this purpose, I need to delete it and recreate in target subscription. After deleting I will lose all my Active Directory Users, OUs, GPOs and trust relationship will be broken. How can I backup and restore all the Active Directory configurations after recreating the Entra Domain Service.

    Hi @Sharma, Garima

    Unfortunatly the answer is not possible. After you create a Microsoft Entra Domain Services managed domain, you can't move it to a different subscription, resource group, or region.

    As a workaround, you can delete the managed domain by using PowerShell or the Microsoft Entra admin center and re-create it with your desired setup.
