How to export table from report builder into editable format?

Hi,
I am using Report Builder to export PowerPoint slides. The report has few text boxes and a table. The text boxes were exported into editable format that I can update in pptx slide however the table is being exported as an image.

Is there a way to export table in editable format in PowerPoint? I checked the rendering extension types and noticed that for PowerPoint, report builder uses hard page-break extension type which is also the same one for tiff. Is that why table is being exported as an image? If so, is there a way to override default rendering extension type?

Appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

Hi @SudhaB ,

Report builder uses hard page-break extension type when exporting to Power Point which is different with word's Soft page-break.

When exported to PowerPoint, the table has been converted to an image as well and not to a PowerPoint table.

It is by design so that we couldn't override default rendering extension type.

The easiest to setup is using the Word export.

With this export you can easily copy/paste the Word version into a PowerPoint deck or even use the embedding of Word documents directly into PowerPoint.

I went through the Report Builder documentation and saw the same hard page-break extension type for .pptx export. Wanted to check if I am missing anything as I am new to Report Builder!
