Microsoft recommendation error

Got the recommendation by defender "Diagnostic logs in Key Vault should be enabled". So I enabled diagnostic settings on the key vault and attached a storage account to it. Later when I went to check the recommendation status in the defender, it throws the below error

RPC method call failed
"An error has occured while invoking RPC method 'handleRemoteCallback' from extension 'Microsoft_Azure_Security'."

The "Diagnostic logs in Key Vault should be enabled" does not open and error page is there. I know that the key vault is not unhealthy now, but what is this issue and how to solve it.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Sometimes transient issues occur during the process. Retry enabling diagnostic settings for your Key Vault. Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to configure diagnostic settings. Ensure that there are no resource locks or policies preventing changes to the Key Vault. Check if any Azure Policy or custom RBAC permissions are restricting the modification of diagnostic settings.

Visit the Azure Service Health page to check if there are any ongoing issues or outages affecting the Azure services, including Azure Security Center. If there are any service disruptions, wait until they are resolved and then try again. Azure services can sometimes experience transient issues, and retrying the operation after a short interval might resolve the problem.

If the above response helps answer your question, please remember to "Accept Answer" if any answer/reply helped, so that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Thanks 😊
