Issue - The server cannot be unregistered as the security features setting is enabled for hybrid backups and there are associated backup items in active or soft delete state. Please disable the security features setting of the vault, perform stop protection and delete data for all the backup items and then trigger unregistration.

From the description posted above I understand that you are trying to delete the Recovery Service Vault (RSV) and received an error "You cannot unregister or delete RSV if security features are enabled"
You can't delete a Recovery Services vault with any of the following dependencies:
If you try to delete the vault without removing the dependencies, you'll encounter one of the following error messages:
Vault cannot be deleted as there are existing resources within the vault. Please ensure there are no backup items, protected servers, or backup management servers associated with this vault. Unregister the following containers associated with this vault before proceeding for deletion.
Recovery Services vault cannot be deleted as there are backup items in soft deleted state in the vault. The soft deleted items are permanently deleted after 14 days of delete operation. Please try vault deletion after the backup items are permanently deleted and there is no item in soft deleted state left in the vault. For more information, see Soft delete for Azure Backup.

You might have items in soft-deleted state.

Now i am getting this new error - Soft delete cannot be disabled on this vault since it is configured to be ‘Always on’. This vault has soft delete in ‘Always on’ state, which prevents soft delete from being disabled.
If you enabled "Always on", you won't be able to disable it.
You need to wait for the configured retention period before you can delete the vault

It did not help, I am getting this error -Now i am getting this new error - Soft delete cannot be disabled on this vault since it is configured to be ‘Always on’. This vault has soft delete in ‘Always on’ state, which prevents soft delete from being disabled.
I believe I have to wait 7 more days to delete this.
Meanwhile I have disable my subscription just to save some money as i don't want to pay for recovery services as i am just using it for testing
@Ashutosh Kumar Yes, you are correct. If your vault has the "Always on" state of soft delete enabled, you cannot disable it. You will need to wait for the retention period to expire before you can delete the vault.
In the meantime, if you want to save money, you can disable the backup for your resources. This will stop the backup job and you will not be charged for backup storage.
