In Azure Congnitive Service, where are the video index stored, for how long is it stored and is it accesible in Azure portal?

I have been using the Azure Computer Vision Video Index to index and query video content. The issue is I am not able to see index in my resource created for computer vision on the Azure portal. I am able to access the index through the rest api, do the ingestion for the videos but there is no information about how long the index will be available for and will I be able to access it after a few days using the same index name. Also the pricing for storing the index is not clear. Can anyone point me towards some answers or resource that will clarify this?
