BOOT USB RECOVERY KEY WINDOWS 11
Hello.
I just bought a new computer with windows 11, ssd, Intel I7 12700H; i also bought a new usb key 64Gb of a serious make.
I tried to create an USB Bootable recovery key with it, and it takes ONE HOUR TO PROCEED.
The key was mounted on an USB 2 port, so the speed of an USB port estimated to 28 M bytes/s, the final key created contains approximatively 15 Gb, so around 10 MINUTES of DATA; confirmed by a copy of the created key on the same port to an other external disk, on the same port, again, which take little less than 10 MINUTES.
so the long duration is not due to the port speed, but the way microsoft use it.
SO, WHEN MICROSOFT WILL TEST ITS PROGRAM ?
In 2030, a bootable key creation will take 200 hours ?
AND, for added critics, i tried exactly the same process on a first new key, same serious make, and it says error on the key after 45 MINUTES. so have to redo all the task. the key was analyzed, one file detected by chkdsk not consistent. so corrected.
it would be EXTREMELY BETTER that microsoft have a mechanism to avoid restarting the creation from the beginning.
SO, WHEN MICROSOFT WILL TEST ITS PROGRAM , AND UNDERSTAND THAT A PROCESS WHICH IS LONGER THAN 30 MINUTES NEED CHEKCPOINTS ?
Thank you.
