Download a file in another format size limit

Question

We are using the

/drive/items/{item-id}/content?format={format}

API to convert PPT files to PDFs. However, we've been unable to locate any documentation regarding the file size limit. Although we're encountering the Service_InvalidInput_FileTooBigToConvert error for larger files (100+ MB), it would greatly benefit us to obtain specific details about the maximum allowable file size.

See here which was current a couple of months ago. The unofficial official answer is about 2MB but that is from HTML to PDF. Not sure if this is applicable to all file conversion types though. I'm not aware of any official documentation that states these limits. You may consider providing feedback to the API documentation asking that the limits be documented.
