Is SMTP AUTH enabled on the mailbox you are using or organization-wide?
I would configure such a scenario completely differently, but first I need some information from you:
- Is your Wordpress instance running on a dedicated web server or shared with other customers?
- If I see correctly in the logs, your system is in the private network. Do you have a public static IP address on your internet connection? That means, whether your WordPress server can send from a static IP to Exchange Online?
- Do you have the ability to configure your domain's public DNS records?
