Azure App service can't connect our AD server

I am trying to modify users from our AD. . While publish the services to Azure App Service, got the error: Can't contact LDAP server

I have a connection already established between Azure and locally.

locally it works because my local computer joined the correct domain, however app service worker doesn't.

Anyone knows where do I miss the configuration?

Check Azure App Service:

Ensure that your Azure App Service is functioning correctly.

You can verify this by pinging the remote machine associated with your AD server.

Verify Web Deploy Services:

Confirm that the necessary services are running on the remote server:

msdepsvc (Microsoft Web Deployment Agent Service)

wmsvc (Web Management Service)

These services are essential for successful communication during deployment.

Firewall Considerations:

Make sure your firewall is not blocking incoming connections on the relevant ports.

By default:

msdepsvc uses port 80.

wmsvc uses port 8172.

Adjust your firewall rules accordingly.

Retry Configuration:

In your Azure App Service Deploy task, consider adding the following arguments:

-retryInterval:6000 -retryAttempts:10

These settings can help improve the reliability of the deployment process.

Storage Space:

Sometimes, deployment issues can occur due to lack of storage space.

Check if your shared App Service service plan has sufficient storage.

If not, consider upgrading to a larger plan.

Network and Firewall Issues:

Verify that there are no network or firewall restrictions preventing communication.

If you have Access Restrictions enabled on your App Service, ensure that it allows the necessary traffic.

Restart the App Service:

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Navigate to your Azure App Service Overview page and click the "Restart" button.

@Adila mebrek Applications and services that use lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) to communicate with Microsoft Entra Domain Services can be configured to use secure LDAP. An appropriate certificate and required network ports must be open for secure LDAP to work correctly.

Refer this article to troubleshoot issues with secure LDAP access in Microsoft Entra Domain Services.

Incase if you are using Hybrid connections this do not support LDAP.
