Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

My subscription is an annual commitment but is charged monthly. So at this point, Microsoft thinks I owe them $12.95 per month for the next 12 months.

Second, I have turned off recurring billing, but I realize that this will keep my account from auto-committing to yet another annual subscription beginning in March 2025.

Thirdly, I’ve changed my credit card on file to one that I plan to cancel next week. However, I am very concerned that Microsoft will continue to invoice me each month for $12.95 until my current annual commitment is done in March 2025.

When my credit card can’t be billed, Microsoft may very well add up all of my monthly invoices and consider them unpaid and then send them to a collection agency (this has happened to me before). I really do not want that to happen.

I would also like to CANCEL THE CURRENT BUSINESS 365 SUBSCRIPTION. I don’t understand why that is so difficult.  I do not want the business subscription, because I moved all of my files to a personal subscription due to the fact that I was locked out of my business 365 account for half of 2023.  I do not want to pay for TWO Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

Microsoft 365

That's how it works, it's an annual commitment. You'll need to reach out to MS support and ask them to cancel it...nicely. :)
