'Error: Unable to load workspaces' in Edge

Through my observation, the problem is:

  1. Microsoft account related. It only happens to specific Microsoft account, because I have tried a different account and it work just fine.
  2. Geographical location related. I currently located in UK. Regarding the account that unable to open the workspaces, I have tried connecting to US, Hong Kong, and China VPN servers and it all work just fine. If I connect to a VPN server that is located in Europe, then it won't work. However, if I switch to a different account, then it will work again, even without a VPN.

In the log it keeps showing the similar error:

Spaces Event: EdgeFluidCSPStorageHelper failed at OnGetWorkspaceFilesComplete

I have tried:

  1. Log out and log in. Not working.
  2. Reset sync data from Microsoft servers in the settings. Not working.
  3. Change the region of my account (US, UK, etc). Not working
  4. Install and use Edge Canary. Not working.
  5. Try on a different computer. Not working.
  6. Reinstall OS. Not working.
  7. Change a different network provider. Not working.
  8. Reset network in OS settings and clear dns cache. Not working.

    There're similar issues reported recently. I suggest that you can submit feedback to the Edge team by clicking the Like or Dislike button at the bottom of the Edge Workspace menu. These buttons are next to the question "Are you satisfied with Workspaces?". Or you can just press Alt+Shift+I in Edge to provide feedback. They'll investigate the issue.
