Hi,

I'm new to Azure and set up a Subscription and Resource Group. The Resource Group sits under my Subscription and has a Database and Data Factory.

Looking at the costs, the subscription and resource group costs are the same each day. Does this mean I'm charged once, or do Microsoft add these together at the end of the month? I presume if the subscription is £10, and the Resource Group is £10, it's showing the total subscription is £10, of which that's made up from the Resource Group and no that it's going to be £20.

Is that correct?

The cost of resources in the resource group should be identical to the cost of the same resources when assessed within the subscription. There is no inherent cost associated with resource groups
