Minimal hybrid migration using Entra Cloud Sync

Hello-

I am preparing to migrate an on-premises Exchange 2019 (single server install) to Exchange Online. After looking over the various migration scenarios, it looks like the Minimal Hybrid migration model will work the best for my environment. For some time, I have been synchronizing my Active Directory environment to Entra using Entra Cloud Sync (NOT Entra Connect Sync, AKA Azure AD Connect).

The documentation provided for a minimal hybrid migration, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/mailbox-migration/use-minimal-hybrid-to-quickly-migrate?source=recommendations, refers directly to Entra Connect Sync, but NOT Cloud Sync.

Is it possible to perform a hybrid migration using Cloud Sync instead of Connect Sync? If so, does documentation exist for performing this migration?
