Which version of visual studio is supported for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 21H2 19045

Hi Team

We have a test automation suite created using Winapp driver with Visual Studio 2019, now the underlined windows is getting changed to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 21H2 so I would request to please provide information on whether we will to able to use the same tools for further development of test automation using Winapp driver with Visual Studio 2019 or we need to change over versions

HI ,

Generally, compatibility is determined by the hardware's capabilities and the version of the.NET Framework or SDK that your project requires.

Thus, as far as I can tell, you can continue to utilize the tools you have been using.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Visual Studio 2022 doesn’t support Windows Enterprise IoT, Visual Studio 2019 supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. I think you can still use Visual Studio 2019.

Here’s some information for you to refer to:

The following are not supported: … Windows Enterprise IoT… You may use Visual Studio 2022 to build apps that run on these editions of Windows.
