Can required approvers be taken automatically from members in a chat?

A couple of weeks ago the approval icon was at the bottom of a chat box. When I clicked on it; named it and it automatically added the required approvers from all Chat participants. This week the icon is gone. I can access the approvals app from the ... but I have to enter all the members in the chat individually. Can someone help with this?

According to our testing, currently the required approvers option box is not automatically populated when creating an approval.

This seems to be by design in New Teams.

To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
