I need to access a VM on an expired AZURE Student account, either make it a pay as you go account or access the VM(RDP to download files) to download files any suggestions to make either option happen?

I have a new pay as you go account but can't associate the previous VM.

Then you'll need to create a support ticket.

    Thanks for the link.
I tried it and established a new pay account but did not see an option to associated the student account or upgrade it appears I have a new pay account however I see both associated with me but can't access the expired account or transfer it.

I don't think that was the correct procedure.

The problem is I am unable to reactivate the subscription. That option is greyed out on the management portal.
