How download csv file from personal onedrive without it has been automatically converted in xlsx format

Question

When I try to donwload a csv file from personal OneDrive it is converted to xlsx format. Also mapping oneDrive to local folder the file is seen locally as xlsx, but it is csv if the viewed online.

I suggest you check if the file format is still .csv but the open with application is changed to Excel.

Usually the file format does not change, only the open program changes. It is recommended that you right-click on the downloaded file and select Open as .txt format.
