I Keep Getting Billing Over Canceled Subscription

Azure was offering a $200 free credit for new accounts, so I signed up to learn and test some services. Then my first invoice came in February 2024, and it was for $146.78. I immediately canceled my account after seeing this charge.

However, today another bill arrived for $18.31 for a service that I never used and for a subscription that I had canceled. When I checked on my mobile device, I saw the subscription had an "orange" icon, indicating it was canceled. But when I logged in on my desktop, the canceled subscription was still active, and I'm continuing to be billed.

I'm confused as to why I'm still being charged for a service I canceled. Could you please investigate this issue and explain why the canceled subscription is still active and generating charges? I'd like to understand what's going on and get this resolved.

@Emrah E - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out.

Sorry for the inconvenience this must have caused!

Microsoft Azure subscription and billing related issues are currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

I suggest you create a support request over here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket/. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.

FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/plans/

You can also try https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/options/#support-plans and ideally the “Submit a support ticket” button will work on this page for them as a first step too.

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
