Hi, I can't find anything official from Microsoft online on this...

If I enable this Teams Panel feature of "Release room if no one checks in", I can select how long they have after the meeting starts to check in. But is there an amount of time BEFORE the meeting starts that they can check into the upcoming meeting?

I can't easily test this here as it is a live system here.

Seems odd to me that a group of people could be sat in the room 5 minutes early waiting for the meeting to start, and then have to come back out of the room to tap the check-in button.

Many thanks.

    Hi @AmazingPhone6248

But is there an amount of time BEFORE the meeting starts that they can check into the upcoming meeting?

I could understand it is not friendly to come back out of the room to tap the check-in button when attendees enter the room before Teams meeting start. But I am afraid there is no such setting could control they can check into the meeting before the meeting starts.

In this article, it shows that users could check in on Teams panels at the room they reserved at the start of the meeting. If a user doesn't check in within a set amount of time after the meeting start time, the meeting room declines the meeting invite, sends a cancellation message to the meeting organizer.
