Can SID filtering be customsied such that certain SIDs are excluded from the filter?

When a trust relationship is established with SID filtering enabled, is it possible to introduce a users “exclusion list” to the filter such that the SID History attribute is not quarantined for those respective users?

I came across this resource which outlines different rules that filter out certain SIDs based on their values. Could such rules be utilised for an exclusion use case similar to the one described above?
