Point Hostgator domain to Azure App Service

I have a domain managed by Hostgator . I have configured the Azure DNS servers on Hostgator. What I need to do to configure Azure to redirect requests from this domain to 2 an Azure App Serservice?

I have tried to create a DNS zone and create un A DNS Record with this domain but when i inserted the Virtual IP address shown in the Networking configuration of App Service, the Azure didn't aceccept.

    Configuration on your DNS servers is only part of the process, which allows the web browsers to send requests to Azure.

    You can see from the official steps that you also need to associate the custom domain(s) with your App Service instance in Azure Portal. They cannot be skipped, or Azure has no way to know that incoming requests should be handled by it.
