After initiating an update, my Windows Server 2019 display is stuck in a loop and I am unable to complete the update.

The message "Don't turn off your computer and keep going in circles" is displayed. How can I fix this issue and complete the update successfully?

    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with the Windows Server 2019 update.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

    1. Boot in Safe Mode: Restart the server and press the F8 key repeatedly while it's booting up to enter Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, attempt to install the updates again.
    2. Windows Update Troubleshooter: Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to identify and fix any issues with Windows Update.
    3. Manual Update: Download the update manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog and install it manually.
    4. Disable Antivirus Software: Temporarily disable any antivirus software and try installing the update again.
    5. System Restore: If applicable, use a system restore point to revert the server to a state before the update loop began.
