How to enable wifi connectivity on a Hyper-V virtual machine

I am in a business in which we need to test the Wi-Fi performance of a server(which runs on a VM). I've tried creating the external switch using the wireless adapter, but that does not give me the results I want(I want to enable the wifi inside of the vm, and be able to connect from there). Is there any workaround for this issue? We need to provide screenshots in which the wifi is clearly visible on the server machine.
