Hi Gary,

Your Microsoft account grants you access to Microsoft Teams, and it’s not something you can cancel. However, you can uninstall the app/program by locating it in the ‘Add or Remove’ control panel settings screen. Alternatively, if you wish to keep it installed on your device and anticipate using it in the future, I recommend the following steps:

1. Right-click the application.
2. Unpin it from your taskbar and start menu.
3. Open the task manager.
4. Disable Microsoft Teams from the startup apps tab.

Could you please tell me:

How do you want to cancel Teams?

If you want to exclude Teams from downloading the M365 desktop client:

Teams is included with both new and existing installations of Microsoft 365 Apps on Windows.

If you don't want to use Teams, you can uninstalls Teams manually. Open the Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, find the Teams and uninstall it.

Or you can exclude Teams from new installations of Microsoft 365 Apps by the following step.
