User's image I am encountering an issue with the auto-shutdown feature for one of my virtual machines. I'm unable to enable or modify the auto-shutdown settings because the button is greyed out and does not allow any interaction.

Troubleshooting Steps Tried:

  1. Checked the VM's permissions to ensure there are no restrictions that could affect changes.
  2. Refreshed the Azure portal page and logged out and back into the portal.
  3. Attempted to access the settings through different browsers and clearing the cache.

None of these steps have resolved the issue.

I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this or information on whether this is a known issue currently being addressed by Azure. Thank you for your assistance.

It is because your VM is running. Shut it down and return to the auto-shutdown pane, and you will be able to enable auto-shutdown.

Let me know how it goes

    Hi @Ereli Eran,

Thanks for contacting Microsoft Q&A platform.

Please check what's the level of access you have on the VM or on the resource group. Also check if you have registered for the resource provider Microsoft.DevTestLab.

Microsoft.DevTestLab resource provider is needed, register for that and try again.

    Hope this helps you.
