Set up ADFS without actual adfs set up

Hi All,

We want to set up ADFS for the project, but due to some restrication in the company we can not implement ADFS in the development env.

We have lot of custom code and it is depends upon user id, so we want to see how code behaves in case of ADFS user Id string.

So I want to check, without ADFS set up can we change user id and login with same user id in sharepoint ? any workaround

If you do not implement ADFS in the SharePoint, the default authentication method is windows authentication.

There is no method to use ADFS user id without ADFS set up.
