SCOM 2022 upgrade issue with SQL broker

We recently upgraded from SCOM 2019 to SCOM 2022 (clean install on new servers) and now SQL broker appears to have stopped working.

Following Microsoft's suggestion, I tried rebuilding it, but SQL Profiler still shows no conversation. Health reset either times out or ends with an "unable to reset health" error. Initially, we encountered issues with reports and MP report deployment due to incorrect permissions on SQL server.

I would like to know if there is a way to validate or repair the DBs, as I tried SCOM install -> repair but it didn't work. There are hundreds of queues/services in Broker under Operations DB.

Ideally, I would like to perform a clean install while keeping the data in DB or find some way to verify that the SCOM DBs are healthy.

Thanks
Filip

    Hi,

Are you connecting the new SCOM 2022 with the old SCOM 2019 DB?

or find some way to verify that the SCOM DBs are healthy.

If the SCOM 2019 is still available, you can try to connect the SCOM 2019 DB.

For your requirement, I recommend you try to In-place upgraded from SCOM 2019 to SCOM 2022, then move to new server.
