Microsoft Azure AD Sync using all memory - Server 2012

We are encountering an ongoing issue with Microsoft Azure AD Sync on Server 2012, where it consistently consumes all available memory. While restarting the service temporarily resolves the issue, it recurs almost daily. If anyone possesses insights into the root cause and potential solutions for this matter, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Upgrade the OS to the supported version and use the latest version of Entra Connect

As per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/hybrid/connect/how-to-connect-install-prerequisites

"Microsoft Entra Connect must be installed on a domain-joined Windows Server 2016 or later. We recommend using domain-joined Windows Server 2022. You can deploy Microsoft Entra Connect on Windows Server 2016 but since Windows Server 2016 is in extended support, you may require a paid support program if you require support for this configuration."
