When signing up for Azure PAYG subscription, I am redirected to Government free trial

I am an employee based out of Canada for a USA based company that has a GCC MS environment. I am attempting to create a PAYG subscription in Azure, using Canadian billing.

However, when I try to create the subscription, I am redirected to sign up for a government free trial, with USA billing the only option. Is there a way to avoid this redirect and sign up for a PAYG subscription?

    Hi Liam,

    You will likely need to contact Microsoft billing support in order to correct this issue.

    Apologies there may not be an easier solution.
