Merge PDF from Word to FoxIt Not Saving

I'm working with an end user who is needing to use the Merge PDF option in Word to convert documents to FoxIt PDF. He would prefer to use this method because he needs to transfer 500 documents total, and the Print to PDF feature doesn't have the same capability. He's been able to use this before, but it's recently stopped saving entirely.

I set up a test folder to see what happens with the documents after selecting "Merge PDF" from Word, and the documents don't save at all. The folder is empty no matter which settings we've tested/tried. We are able to Merge to PDF from FoxIt but it only lets us do one document at a time which isn't efficient enough for this user.

Any tips on how I can get this working again?
