I am trying to complete the build course on "Microsoft Build: Build multimodal Generative AI experiences"

The 2nd module itself asks for requesting permission for the OpenAI resource (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/get-started-openai/2-access-azure-openai) However, the only way to apply for the access to the resource is to have a WORK email address. I am trying to complete this course as an individual and not through work, how should I proceed?

This question is related to the following Learning Module

    Hi amar chheda,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Access to the Azure OpenAI service is currently restricted and not available for all subscriptions. Users must meet specific criteria outlined in this form and access will be granted upon review of the submitted details.

To obtain an Azure subscription with access to the Azure OpenAI service, you need to complete and submit the form. Please note that Azure OpenAI requires registration and is currently available only to approved enterprise customers and partners. Customers wishing to use Azure OpenAI must submit a registration form.

If your request does not meet the acceptance criteria, you can alternatively use the OpenAI public API.

Additionally, Azure for Students and free trial subscriptions no longer support Azure OpenAI. Your subscription should be a pay-as-you-go account to ensure successful deployments of Azure OpenAI once your request is approved. More information is available here and here.
