    Thanks for your question.

    To cancel a free trial, turn off recurring billing. If you don't turn off recurring billing, after your one month free trial ends, you're charged the applicable subscription fee. If your trial subscription doesn't have a payment method associated with it, you can just let it expire at the end of the trial period, and you won't be charged.

    To request a refund you need to cancel it first and follow the steps similarly documented here:

    To address your billing issue and request a refund, follow these steps to create a support request in the Azure portal:

    • Open your web browser and go to the Azure Portal. Sign in using your credentials associated with your Azure account.
    • Once logged in, go to the Help + Support section. You can find this by clicking on the question mark icon (❓) at the top-right corner of the portal, and then selecting Help + support from the dropdown menu.
    • Click on the + New support request button. This will open a form where you can specify the details of your issue, Under Issue type, select Billing, and for Problem type, choose Refund request, then click Next.
    • After clicking Next, proceed to enter all necessary details, verify that your email and phone number are correct, and finalize the case creation.
    • The Azure support team will review your request and get in touch with you to assist in resolving your refund issue.
