Online meetings created from Outlook clients cannot be joined directly from a link.

Are you creating a Teams meeting in Outlook?

How did you join the meeting? Are there any error messages?

According to my test, click the following link in the Outlook client to jump directly to join the meeting.

Also, note that when you join a meeting from New Teams, don't click the "Join" button, but click the actual meeting link in the Outlook reminder notification. This should redirect you directly to the meeting in Teams. Or click the Meetings icon in the Teams menu bar and find the upcoming meeting.
