VS Changes the state of the windows I work on.

1.- When I open the project, I want each window that I had open to be the same as when I closed, without any changes.

2.- If I have several windows open with C# documents, I don't want any of the windows to change position when running. I have tried putting the thumbtack symbol and it doesn't work.

    Hi @zequion,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Which version of Visual Studio are you using? Do you mean the position of document windows are changed when reopening the project?

Please go to Tools > Options > Projects and Solutions > General > ensure that the option “Reopen documents on solution load” is checked.

If it has been enabled, please reset your VS settings and try again.

Besides, you can also customize a window layout to arrange window positions and behavior, which will make VS remember it. Please see Customize window layouts and personalize tabs

    Sincerely,

    Anna
