Why am I being charged for the free SQL Managed Instance service for 12 months

Hello Why does Azure charge for SQL Managed Instance when I have it for free for 12 months? What's more, after stopping it, it still charges? I finally deleted the service with all resources and the charges for this service are still being charged. Regards

The charges are charged from the very beginning of the service launch in free mode. For SQL Managed Instance service, I see 0$ in the description, free service, but in the cost analysis from the very beginning of the service launch in free mode, charges are being charged. At the moment, the charges are still being charged every hour, despite the fact that I have not had any services or resources on my subscription since morning. The instance and all resources associated with it have been deleted and the costs for SQL Managed Instance are still being charged.

Unfortunately it does not offer such options beyond referring to the online help system with text information that does not explain the issue. Any telephone contact is also not available.
Yes, I know that the academic subscription does not offer a free trial period for SQL Managed Instance, but after exhausting the funds I increased the subscription level and thus gained access to the free 12-month period of use.
In this case I am forced to cancel the subscription to protect myself from being charged fees that should not be charged
