Description: Hello everyone,

I'm facing an issue while trying to connect a REST service in Azure Data Factory. The configuration is as follows:

  • Base URL: https://yam.3psi.com.pe/wsextdatsee/api/operacioncliente?datpet=20383929050_1_Lgo2023$1
  • Authentication Type: Anonymous
  • Server Certificate Validation: Enabled

The error I receive is:

The connection to the REST service failed. Endpoint='https://yam.3psi.com.pe/wsextdatsee/api/operacioncliente?datpet=20383929050_1_Lgo2023$1', Reason='TrustFailure'

The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.

The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this certificate validation problem?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi @Yamaha_motors

Please try granting User.Read.All or Directory.Read.All application permissions to your app to get a list of users in the tenant as suggested in the following post: Rest call failed with client error, status code 403 Forbidden, please check your activity settings - Microsoft Q&A

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
