Recently created a student account that let me log into the portal and go through the steps to create an app service but it fails with the following error:

The subscription '53f53cb2-df47-48a7-b64a-4f1b78518cdb' is not allowed to create or update the serverfarm.

For over a week now, there has been an ongoing issue. If you encounter difficulties in provisioning your App Service, consider these steps:

1. Retry after a few hours: Sometimes the issue resolves itself.
2. Try a different region: Deploy your service in another Azure region if possible.
3. Use the Free Tier: Start with the Free Tier for your service.
