The official word from microsoft about downgrade rights is contained in this document.

You can't downgrade an installation but you may have downgrade rights. You can contact the activation center to obtain a downgrade key.

Most microsoft resellers have a trained licensing specialist. I'd ask the DSP/OEM provider directly.

    Hello, thanks for your reply.

I already read Downgrade rights and License Summary.

My license is DSP/OEM for software and after a telephone call with Microsoft Activation Center and was told that I should ask the supplier if he can do the downgrade.

This is correct and if yes can a DSP supplier give the downgrade rights?

    Best Regards.

I have already talked to the supplier and I am waiting for his answer.
But I want to have an official answer from microsoft via email, and not by phone.
