Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out because I've encountered an issue with sending emails using SMTP credentials through my email account (******@psmau.com.au). It appears that SMTP authentication may not be enabled for my account.

Could you please assist me in enabling SMTP authentication for my account? This would greatly help in ensuring seamless email sending functionality.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your assistance.

Warm regards,

    Hello Sushmita,

Log Into Your Account: Go to Outlook.com and sign in with your credentials.

Access Mail Settings: Click on the gear icon at the top right corner of the page to open settings, then view all Outlook settings. Select Mail > Sync email: You'll find this on the sidebar in the settings menu. SMTP Settings: Here, you should see the SMTP settings including the server name, port number, and encryption method. Make sure you note these down for your email client configuration.

Enable SMTP Authentication: Outlook.com uses your standard login credentials for SMTP authentication. This is generally your email address and password, but if you have two-factor authentication enabled, you might need to use an app password instead of your regular password. Set up or Update Your Email Client: Use the SMTP details to set up your email client. Here are the general SMTP settings for Outlook.com: SMTP server: smtp-mail.outlook.com Port: 587 Encryption method: STARTTLS (recommended) or SSL/TLS Generate an App Password (if using two-factor authentication): Go back to account settings, select Security > Advanced security options. Under App passwords, select Create a new app password. Use this app password in your email client instead of your regular password.

Using these settings, configure your email client. If you're still having issues or need further guidance on using an app password or specific client configurations, feel free to ask for more detailed help!

    Warm Regards, Ozi
