Teams Live Event: presenters unable to share to Share tray

Last week, we held a Teams Live Event where we had three presenters plus myself as a producer, and the presenters were all able to share presentations into the share tray at the bottom of the screen, where I could pick them and insert them into the live event queue. (As mentioned e.g. here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/produce-a-live-event-using-teams-591bd694-121d-405c-b26d-730315e45a22)

Today, however, we held a dry run for the next event, and the only option the presenters had was to share their screen - like in a regular Teams meeting - which overrides any content that the producer has set up.

Something has obviously changed since last Tuesday. If anyone has any idea what has happened, please let me know! Our next event is coming up in 24 hours and now it turns out that we apparently can't run it like the previous ones.

Could you provide us a screenshot of today’s Live event view if possible?

In fact, from the presenter side, the view is similar to the regular Teams meeting. Refer to the following image.

I know the presenter view is similar, we tested this out several times with different roles before we went live with our first presentation last week. Nevertheless, last Tuesday, if a presenter shared their content, it showed up in my producer view in the share tray, where I was able to queue it up while a previous presenter was talking on video. Now, if a presenter shares their content, it immediately goes live and overrides what the producer is trying to do.

It can only have one presenter sharing screen at the same time. If certain presenter starts sharing when another presenter is sharing screen, it will break the current sharing.

Yes, but now the presenters didn't even have the option to share content into a share tray, only to directly share the screen. Previously, and when we tested this out, presenters could share their content into the share tray and I could take it from there and queue it up to be next on the stream. Now, they cannot do that.

What is your Teams version?

How many users have this issue now?

I tested in Teams version 1.3.00.28779(64-bit). It has no such issue.

Do you have any update now?
It recommends affected users try in other machines and clear their client cache.
