Hello,

I recently upgraded the Linux agents in SCOM to the suggested version of SCXcore V1.7.1-0, but after the upgrade, the agents appeared greyed out. I tried restarting "scxadmin -restart" but it didn't resolve the issue.

Can anyone provide insights on how to troubleshoot this and get the Linux agents back online? I'm relatively new to SCOM and would appreciate any guidance.

    Hi,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your SCOM Linux agents.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check the Proxy Server: In some cases, the issue could be due to the proxy server.
    2. Verify Certificates: Ensure your certificates are configured properly. If they aren’t, you will have to uninstall the agent and install it again or manually sign and copy the certificate over.
    3. Clear the Agent Cache: Sometimes, clearing the agent cache can resolve the issue.
