Can Azure Open AI Studio access and extract information from documents in a private Azure Storage account if the Azure Search Service and Azure Open AI are publicly network-enabled?

In Microsoft documentation it is mentioned that:

Azure OpenAI Service
Azure OpenAI Service
An Azure service that provides access to OpenAI’s GPT-3 models with enterprise capabilities.

@Sehrish khan Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, Thank you for posting your query here!

Firstly, please note, Azure OpenAI Studio and Azure AI Studio are two different things. See this article if you want to know the difference between the two.

The Add your data feature in the Azure AI Studio playground doesn't support private storage account.

However, Azure Open AI Studio does support Add your data within private storage account.

To allow access to your Storage Account from Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search, while the Storage Account has no public network access, you need to set up Storage Account to bypass your Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search as trusted services based on managed identity.

In the Azure portal, navigate to your storage account networking tab, choose "Selected networks", and then select Allow Azure services on the trusted services list to access this storage account and click Save.

    More info here.

Hope this helps. If you have any follow-up questions, please let me know. I would be happy to help.
