Ink to shape

I am using “Ink to Shape” on the Microsoft Whiteboard, which as a university math instructor teaching remotely, would be very useful if the shapes actually had consistent straight lines. Instead each shape that I draw turns into something that looks as if a paint brush painted it, instead of a traditional geometric shape. Is this the inherent only rendering available (if this is the default, which it appears to be, someone in design should lose their job), or, is there a way to have these figures actually look like the figures in geometry as they ought? Above is a screen shot of what it is doing. If this my only option with the Ink to Shape feature?

    Hi Marc*,*

We appreciate for your input, the first thing we would like to confirm with you if you are using whiteboard at Teams meeting, if you having different scenario, you could share a little bit to us.

Yes, current it is quite so, whiteboard is imitating and create a illusion for the hand drawing instead doing the standard geometric shape for the mathematics purpose, which it is adopted from the real-life drawing. It is actually a brilliant idea to add this new feature to the whiteboard especially for the math education in terms of the uni level. In addition, it would also be great to insert equation or advanced calculator.

For this request, we recommend you could post your idea at https://whiteboard.uservoice.com/ , me and my colleagues will also add our votes as well for your idea.

    Your Sincerely,

    George
