Microsoft Authenticator Android: Change of login e-mail address of my Microsoft account

I would like to change my email address for logging in to my Microsoft account, as people are trying to log in to my Microsoft account too often (according to recent activity). So far, all attempts have failed because the wrong password was used. Nevertheless, I would like to set a new login address for my Microsoft account so that the attempts cannot take place in the first place. What do I need to do to ensure that the Microsoft Authenticator Android still works afterwards and that my saved entries in the MS Authenticator are not lost? Many thanks in advance for your support.

    Hello,

You will need to backup your account then do the change that you want or even totally remove authenticator and once you login back restore from backup.

Follow below steps to backup your authenticator data.
